About

Christa Rohrbach is a writer specializing in hybrid fiction, poetry, and genre play. A Bay Area native, Christa now resides in Bellingham, Washington where she recently obtained her MFA in Fiction. She is currently working on a speculative novel about the notion of loss—how we handle it and what it means to reconcile that which we don’t know. While working on this, Christa is interested in actively disrupting genre conventions and continues to play with manufactured found texts.

As a scholar, Christa has recently discovered a love for investigating digital literacies in social media–specifically the ways in which online activists and writers use creative nonfiction conventions to engage a diverse readership.
